Valerie Objects Standing Floor Lamp No.1

Valerie Objects Standing Lamp No.1 has a simple design, consisting of nothing more than bent lacquered steel tubes, with an archetypal glass lampshade at the end. Developed as a continuation of Muller Van Severen’s Ceiling and Hanging Lamps that were shown at their first solo exhibition in 2011. The original design was created for an old house with no socket in the ceiling for a light, granting the need for wall mounted light.

Standing Lamp No.1 has a tall height of 190cm and an overall reach of 120cm. The light looks excellent placed in a living room, dining room or study. On one hand, the basic design doesn’t draw too much attention. On the other, its playful and colourful character adds interest to an interior. Standing Lamp No.1 looks just as good alone as it does combined with other Valerie Objects Ceiling and Hanging Wall Lamps. Available in a number of vibrant finishes, or an industrial antiques brass.
