The PET Lamp Abyssinia Pendant Light, is crafted in collaboration with Ethiopian artisans, the Abyssinia Pendant Light combines traditional basket weaving with repurposed plastic bottles to create a striking, flat disc-shaped form. Inspired by coiled baskets used to serve injera, each shade is woven by hand using dyed plant fibres wrapped around dried grasses, an expressive technique passed down through generations, especially among women in rural Ethiopia.

Each lamp is unique, shaped by the maker's imagination and guided by no fixed pattern. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that merges age-old craft with contemporary reuse, celebrating cultural heritage while reimagining waste.
