Oluce Coupe 1158 Wall Light

The Oluce Coupé 1158 Wall Light is a classic mid-century design by Joe Colombo, combining a rotating metal dome with a clever stem-to-head mechanism that allows the light to be directed up, down, or sideways. Originally conceived as a variation of Colombo’s Spider family, it shares the same base and stem while introducing a distinctive, semi-cylindrical shade for versatile illumination.

Winner of the 1968 International Design Award from the American Institute of Interior Designers, the Coupé is now part of the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung in Munich. Its adjustable head provides both direct and reflected light, making it ideal for reading corners, living spaces, or highlighting architectural details while showcasing one of the great icons of Italian lighting design.
