Designed by Gabriel Tan, the Rumee 220 Portable Rechargeable Lamp combines sculptural form with everyday practicality. Its gently tilted head casts light downward and forward, widening the beam angle, while a built-in diffuser ensures soft, glare-free illumination. Emitting a 360-degree ambient glow, it provides both focused close-up light and warm ambient lighting. Inspired by the flowing curves of a wide-brimmed hat, Rumee has a distinctive organic silhouette that feels both modern and timeless. Lightweight and comfortable to hold, it’s designed to be carried easily from room to room. Thanks to its rechargeable design, it works just as well on the move as it does on a bedside table, desk, or dining setting. The name “Rumee” playfully draws from both Danish and English, merging “rum” (room or space) with “me” — echoing the sense of a friendly, portable companion.
