HAY Layout Chair 161 with 4 Star Swivel Wheel Base

The HAY Layout Chair 161 by Julien Renault is designed to support flexible use across offices and home workspaces. The opening in the backrest gives the chair a lighter appearance while improving comfort and freedom of movement when seated.

This version features a four star aluminium swivel arc base with castors, allowing smooth movement across floors and easy repositioning at desks and meeting tables. The shell is made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in a wide range of colours. All components are designed to be fully disassembled, supporting repair and refurbishment to extend the chair’s lifespan.
