HAY Layout Chair 141 with 5 Star Swivel Wheel Base and Gas Lift

The HAY Layout Chair 141, designed by Julien Renault, is a practical and adaptable seating solution shaped by comfort, functionality and circular design principles. Defined by the opening in the backrest, the shell offers natural flexibility and support while giving the chair a light, open appearance.

This version is fitted with an aluminium five-star swivel base on castors, combined with a height-adjustable gas lift that allows the seat height to be set between 44cm and 53cm. This added mobility and adjustability make the chair particularly well suited to workspaces, meeting rooms and home offices where flexibility is essential. All components are designed to be fully disassembled, supporting refurbishment and long-term use.

The shell is crafted from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in a wide range of colours, allowing the chair to be tailored to different interiors. With its balanced proportions and durable construction, the Layout Chair 141 works equally well in professional environments and contemporary home settings.
