The HAY Layout Armchair 251 by Julien Renault is designed to support flexible seating across work and domestic environments. Defined by the opening in the backrest, the design feels lighter in appearance while allowing natural movement and comfort when seated.

This version features a four star swivel arc base made from aluminium, providing smooth rotation and ease of movement in everyday use. The shell is made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in a wide range of colours. All components are designed to be fully disassembled, supporting repair and refurbishment to extend the armchair’s lifespan.
