Part of the anniversary edition, the Carimate chairs for this year are uniquely numbered for authenticity and longevity, with a plaque mounted discreetly under the seat. The original Carimate, designed in 1959 by Vico Magistretti, was designed for a golf club in Italy. The present day Carmate has been delicately updated by Fritz Hansen with updated materials and comfort design for longevity and assured quality. The flag line straw seat is inspired by the original design and updated for extra comfort. With bold details the Carimate chair lends itself to a contemporary or rustic living space aesthetic.
