Form & Refine Sonder Chair

The Sonder Chair by Form & Refine combines everyday durability with a refined, sculptural feel. Designed by Herman Studio in 2025, it features a long, curved backrest and wide U-shaped seat made from finely moulded veneer. The solid wood frame is grounded in Brutalist influences, with sturdy legs and visible crossbars, giving the chair strength and structure while maintaining a graceful presence.

Built for both residential and contract use, Sonder is crafted with carefully developed joints and a robust construction that will hold up over time. The wood will naturally develop a soft patina, highlighting the chair’s thoughtful contours and design.
