Bitossi Vaso Conico Riedizioni Cav. G.B

The Vaso Conico is a tall, conical ceramic vase originally designed by Aldo Londi in 1955. Hand-thrown in red clay, it features a distinctive pierced design with oval cut-outs near the top. The surface is decorated with a stylised keyhole motif, finished in matte olive green glaze with hand-applied red highlights inside the incisions. This combination of geometric form and graphic surface detail is typical of Londi’s modernist approach, where functional objects were reimagined as sculptural works of art.

Reissued in 2006 as part of the Riedizioni collection, this edition is limited to 199 pieces. Each vase is handmade in Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy, and marked with its original inventory number and the historic “Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli” name at the base.
