The Nero Verde Rosso Vase by Nathalie Du Pasquier for Bitossi is a bold, architectonic ceramic piece composed of multiple interlocking elements. Crafted in white clay using a combination of potter’s wheel and slip-casting techniques, the vase is finished in a striking palette of matte black, green, red, and light blue glazes. The interplay of colour and form reflects Du Pasquier’s painterly approach, where sculptural structure and chromatic rhythm are inseparable.
Originally designed in 2004 and reissued in 2016 as a limited edition of 299 pieces, the vase stands approximately 50 cm tall and 19.6 cm in diameter. Each piece is handmade by Bitossi’s artisans in Montelupo, Italy, ensuring that every vase carries its own subtle variations and character.
