Made from white clay, the rectangular form is hand-incised using a nylon thread, creating a rhythmic pattern of linear cuts across the surface. The piece is finished with a transparent white glaze that enhances the texture while preserving the clarity of the incisions. Reissued in 2018 as part of the Riedizioni Archivio Storico collection, this edition is limited to just 99 pieces. Each slab is handmade in Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy, and faithfully reproduces the original model preserved in the Bitossi Museum Archive. It is marked with its archival inventory number and the historic “Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli” name at the base.
