The Bolo Tagliato from the Collezione Accessori is a sculptural ceramic centrepiece originally designed by Aldo Londi in 1971. Hand-thrown in refractory red clay, it features a symmetrical horizontal cut across the upper section, giving the low, round form a distinctive architectural profile. The interior is finished in a glossy yellow glaze, while the exterior is coated in a rich brown enamel. This bold contrast of colour and form exemplifies Londi’s modernist approach, where functional objects were reimagined with expressive clarity.

Reissued in 2015 as part of the Riedizioni Archivio Storico collection, this edition is limited to just 99 pieces. Each Bolo Tagliato is handmade in Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy, and faithfully reproduces the original model preserved in the Bitossi Museum Archive. It is marked with its archival inventory number and the historic “Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli” name at the base.
