The Bolo Rotondo is a low, round ceramic centrepiece originally designed by Aldo Londi in 1971. Its shallow form is wheel-thrown in red clay and finished with a striking two-tone glaze—glossy yellow on the interior and deep brown on the exterior. The clean geometry and bold colour contrast reflect Londi’s modernist sensibility, where functional forms were elevated through expressive surface treatments. This piece exemplifies the balance of tradition and innovation that defined Bitossi’s mid-century output.

Reissued in 2015 as part of the Riedizioni collection, this edition is limited to just 99 pieces.
