Awa pendant

Delicate yet substantial, the Awa pendant light combines the perceived fragility of glass with the raw heft of metal and wood. Designed by Fumie Shibata for Brokis, the Awa takes its name from the Japanese word for a ball made from air wrapped in liquid. A glass pendant that looks like it has taken its shape after being inflated, the top cap mirrors a cork, further adding to the illusion that the lamp is filled with air.
